Manticore

Here's a Manticore, a mythological monster with the body of a red lion, a scorpion's tail, wings, and a human-like face. Manticores have blue eyes and a roar that sounds like many trumpets sounding off at once. Manticores have three rows of sharp teeth and were said to be the reason for people going missing outside of villages. Manticore means "man-eater" in Middle Persian (or Greek, its kind of debated) I first heard of this monster from playing Age of Mythology. xD For some reason, I love composite monsters.
