Human, Spherical Sketches

Description

Spherical shapes are the next step in the human drawing process. Knowing how to draw spherical shapes is important for this process, as well as knowing how to draw cylinders. Again, when drawing these type of sketches, only focus on the overall mass and keep proportions constant. Dividing the torso into hips/ ribcage really helps, especially later on. Think about how the shapes go back in space, and if you have trouble on how things go back in space, study perspective to get a better understanding. A mannequin was used to help draw this. I recommend buying one at a local art store.

OOOO, I have manakin thingies that look like those lmfao
they're not the lame little ones either, I got them at Ikea *strikes a cool pose B-)*
I'm bad about drawing this kind of stuff, I know basic porportions and stuff but I refuse to draw skeletons :XD: I draw my stuff with meat included automatically, although sometimes... SOMETIMES when I'm having a hard time picturing it, I'll actually draw the skeleton stuff and then basic idea of where arm muscles need to be and stuff lol
and now-a-days I usually start all my characters off with no clothing and then cake the clothing on as I see fit :D
